Step Into Your Power with

The Los Angeles Method

A dynamic combination of Acting

and Personal Development Techniques

The world we live in demands that you show up. If you don’t step into the spotlight, someone else will. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, leader, creative, or professional — your ability to be seen, heard, and remembered will define your success.

This is not just about confidence. This is about authentic presence. It’s about connecting with your truth, learning how to deliver it with power, and creating an impact every time you step in front of a camera, a client, or an audience.

That’s what The Los Angeles Method is here to give you.

The Los Angeles Method (c) is a dynamic combination of Acting and Personal Development Techniques; it is an Acting and Communication School.

The definition of acting is “Living Truthfully under Imaginary Circumstances”. Acting is not about pretending.

Personal Development is about being 100% responsible and conscious of the reality you are creating for your self.

We combine the two to create a method that gives you the tools to create the personal and business life you want and deserve; the same way an actor builds a Role.

Our mission is to change the world by empowering one individual at a time. Enough coaching, more acting!

We offer Private Sessions, Masterclasses, Workshops, Lectures.

About Theodora:

“I am a very creative person and I wear different “hats” that express me.

I am filmmaker, a theatre creator, a teacher. All my identities are based on creative expression, connection and freedom.

I am the founder of  88 Productions, an award winning production house; led by women, focused on storytelling. We produce short films, documentaries, videos, we create theatre productions and we run an acting studio. In the acting studio we teach The Los Angeles Method; a dynamic combination of Acting and Personal Development Techniques.

I believe the world can become a better place if we empower and lift each other. I do that through the stories I tell in my films and videos, at my photoshoots, in my theatre plays and in my classes. We empower one person at a time. Enough coaching, more acting!

A short presentation about

The Los Angeles Method

An actor does not pretend, an actor presents the truth. To be truthful on stage you need to find your own truth in life.
You will develop your creative skills, your social skills, your visibility and connection to yourself and others.
You will find and unleash the power you have to be the creator of your reality, instead of just reacting to it.

What it is:

www.theodoravoutsa.com

The Los Angeles Method Theatre Project is about using a theatre play to teach people how they can create the life they want and deserve, beyond confining convictions, fears and obstacles. The rehearsal process will be a workshop - using the Los Angeles Method - that will lead professionals and people who never had a connection to the stage on a journey until the opening night.

In the Los Angeles Method we believe that Art can be therapeutic.  Acting is about getting in touch and unblocking your emotions.  It is in the emotional part of our brain where imagination and creativity reside. It is the emotional side of us that we need to exercise if we want to create the life we want to lead and produce anything.  As an actor creates his/her role, in this way anyone involved in this project will understand that they are 100% responsible of their reality, because they create it.

The Los Angeles Method Theatre Project

A Play. A Journey. A Transformation.

This is not just theatre. This is your life on stage.

The Los Angeles Method Theatre Project is about breaking through fear, shattering limiting beliefs, and stepping into the life you were meant to live. We use the power of theatre to awaken your truth, ignite your presence, and unleash the creator within you.

The rehearsal room is not just practice—it’s a laboratory of life. Through a series of workshops using The Los Angeles Method, you’ll embark on a journey that leads to something extraordinary: a real theatre production, performed in front of an audience.

This is designed for professionals, business owners, and leaders—people who need visibility, communication, and authentic presence to grow their brand and their influence. The stage becomes your training ground for business and for life.

Why Theatre?

www.theodoravoutsa.com

In The Los Angeles Method, we believe that art heals. Acting is not pretending—it’s living truthfully, without the mask. And when you release your emotions, you unlock your imagination, your creativity, and your courage.

It’s in this emotional space that transformation happens. The same way an actor creates a role, you will learn to create the life you want. You’ll stop reacting and start directing. You’ll discover that you are 100% responsible for your reality—because you are the writer, director, and star of your own story.

The Program

Cycle 1: Create the Role

We teach you The Los Angeles Method—a dynamic fusion of Acting, Personal Development, and Behavioral Science Techniques. Then we put it into practice through Chekhovian scenes.

You’ll learn how to build a character—and in doing so, how to build yourself.

  • Discover your strengths.

  • Reprogram your weaknesses.

  • Find your truth on stage and in life.

  • Develop creative, social, and leadership skills.

  • Step into visibility, presence, and connection with others.

Actors don’t pretend. Actors present the truth. And when you find yours, you step into power.

Then, we introduce the play. Together, as a theatre company, we read it as a group and assign roles.

Cycle 2: Scene Work

Here we start working on scenes from the play itself—putting it all together, step by step.

You’ll train your body, breath, and voice. You’ll sharpen your imagination through improvisation. You’ll practice the art of listening, reacting, and connecting.

You’ll learn what every great actor knows:

  • Emotions are fuel.

  • Empathy is power.

  • Vulnerability is strength.

  • Connection is everything.

You’ll build the courage to stand in the light without fear—and discover the freedom of being unapologetically, fully alive.

Cycle 3: The Production

www.theodoravoutsa.com

The curtains open—and you experience it all.

A real theatrical production with you on stage, standing in the light—not hidden in the darkness with the audience.

You’ll live through every stage of the process: casting, rehearsals, costumes, photo shoots, tech week, and finally, opening night.

The moment you step on stage, you’ll feel the electricity of being truly seen, heard, and celebrated.

This is where training meets transformation. You won’t just perform a role—you’ll embody the truth of who you’ve become.

Our Philosophy

To succeed in life and in business, you must reclaim the curiosity, courage, and freedom of a child. It’s never too late to create a happy childhood for yourself—to look at the world with wonder instead of fear.

At The Los Angeles Method, we believe:

  • Your life is a movie—you write it, direct it, and star in it.

  • Transformation requires action.

  • Visibility is power.

  • You are 100% responsible for the reality you experience.

This is not about acting. This is about becoming the author of your life—and your business.

🔥 This is your stage. Your story. Your breakthrough.

Are you ready to step into the light?

Testimonials

“Acting in Theodora Voutsa's Oedipus Rex has made me a better person. I now have a framework and vocabulary for how I experience emotion. Not only do I better understand what I am feeling, I also seek out new emotional experiences rather than avoiding them.

Perhaps more importantly though, the experience has changed how I interact with the world. Performing for a sold-out theatre also has some unique benefits. The most obvious of those is the boost in self-confidence.”

Brian Pagan, USA.

“Theodora is passionate, impatient, with a heart as huge as her talent. Strong vision and drive, and a firm handle on both the bigger picture and every minute detail. No tolerance for bullshit, excuses or drama queens; a knack for understanding someone’s pain and knowing when to use it to break down barriers and when to comfort it to prevent creating them. A very tough task-master who only accepts the best from each of us.”

Sandy Topzand, South Africa

“Being part of the Oedipus Rex cast gave me additional strength to deal with the difficult situations at work and in my personal life. I am a stronger person now; more open for change and with more self-confidence. If I can be successful on stage, in front of many people and get their applause, I can do anything I put my mind and energy into. I started to feel young, energetic, happy and capable again ... What more could I want ?”

 Hale Parlayan, The Netherlands

“I didn’t know what I could do, or if I was up to the challenge but I decided to give a try.   I found the whole process so challenging and very rewarding at a personal level;  it forced me and all others to get rid of all kind of emotional , physical barriers we all had in the beginning ; our “vulnerability “ led to a very special bond among all of us based on trust, care , and love and mutual drive.   I felt growing stronger in presence but becoming selfless at the same time.”

Muge Ergecen, The Netherlands/Turkey

“Through the process I discovered my artistic self and learned how to express my feelings better, and communicate and connect with others and the environment. As it was my stage debut I didn't know how a theatre production was produced. During the rehearsals Idiscovered the technical aspects of theater as well as how much dedication and discipline it requires to put a play on stage. I can say that the overall experience helped me grow beyond my limits and I believe I will be better in my personal and professional relationships and express myself easier.”

Serkan Kaba, Turkey

www.theodoravoutsa.com

“The earliest mention of acting was at nine, when my mother and sister asked me to be an actor, to which I responded …‘never… actors lie’ and so it went until last year when I took a self-development class with the Los Angeles Method where I discovered, that in order to be a successful actor/ress you need to be pure of intention, and I like to lead my life pursuing purity of intention to myself and those around me.

We spent time preparing, each rehearsal was extraordinary, often culminating in severe emotions from love to anger and back to love plus everything in between.

Once we completed our 3 performances; something happened, snapped? inside me. A new dimension that has always been with me but never knew existed. A sense of power matrixed into my existing inner knowledge, like new space. For those who are contemplating, be brave and take the leap, no matter what happens, your life will never be the same again.”

Nico Samaras, Greece

Our goal at the Acting Workshop | The Los Angeles Method is to empower our participants with the tools to become successful and to make dynamic choices, both in their work and in their lives.

We provide coaching for the stage or film- but also for career choices and life.  We believe that a successful actor is a successful human being.

Together we will work on:

Script Analysis

Script Analysis

- theory,

- exercises,

- script analysis,

- behavioural analysis,

- acting exercises,

- trust exercises,

- improvisation,

- expression and communication,

- casting and audition techniques.

We take the acting traditions that date back to Stanislavski and we incorporate them to today.  We believe that to recreate real human behaviour and truly be in the scene, we need to know our Authentic Self, our personal truth- and be able to have the courage to show it to the world.

We can not express emotions on stage, truthfully, if we have these emotions blocked in our real life.  Then we would be lying and acting is all about revealing the truth.

We analyse the script using behavioural science.  How does your character negotiate life?  How do you negotiate life? What are your tactics?  What can you use from your own personal truth and life experiences, to replicate that character?  Who are you?  Who is your character?  Where can you meet?

“ The Talents Exercise”. This exercise helps you recognise the “ tools” you have to better express yourself, communicate and connect with the world around you.and more.

Theory on Communication

We believe that an actor’s job is a 24 hour occupation. A successful actor needs to be able to communicate well at all times, not only on stage or on set.

The theory consists of information on Expression and Communication. How does our brain work when communicating? What is the technology of Expression? We will examine Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Communication. What are the Settings and Sub Settings ( visual, hearing, kineasthetics).Meaning of Words and Language.Errors in Communication ( Subtraction, Misrepresentations, Twists, Generalisations, etc…)Prerequisites for Good CommunicationReframingand more.

The Acting Workshop is designed for actors who want to achieve their goals and overcome obstacles.

At first, a lot of strangers and chaos. We were a group of individuals who shared an atomic experience and, in the process, formed a cohesive unit. For many of us, it was a baptism by fire. But, like clay cups, we needed the fire to turn us into fine, strong porcelain. I was often left breathless with love – both given and received. We witnessed and supported each other’s breakthroughs and many tears were shed as we connected with parts of ourselves we didn’t know existed.

I learned that, whether you’re in a corporate career or an artistic one, a strong work ethic and an ability to communicate and co-operate with others is essential.

I learned the fine balance between trust and taking responsibility.

I learned that there is a time to speak and a time to stay silent, and that too many words swallow the meaning.

Theodora: Passionate, impatient, temperamental, with a heart as huge as her talent. Strong vision and drive, and a firm handle on both the bigger picture and every minute detail. No tolerance for bullshit, excuses or drama queens; a knack for understanding someone’s pain and knowing when to use it to break down barriers and when to comfort it to prevent creating them. A very tough task-master who only accepts the best from each of us. I discovered that if I let go of my defensiveness, just gave my very best and allowed myself to be taught, magic happened.

We created something exquisite – all of us together. I still feel tears of pride pricking my eyes when I look at the photos.”
